Phantoms in the Midst
A global ringing: Tsunami, Hurricane, Earthquake
Fire, Flood. An earth unloosed. Deaths, many deaths. Fall
Unfolds. With neither names nor origins - spirits slide in
Unscrupulously, plunk down on walls, edges, a silent cone
About their heads: shocked, mesmerized, wanton, one wanders
Wonders. Apprehensive to the core, one is too shy to ask
Where are you from? Why are you here?
Photographs taken in and about the edges of Dolores Park, San Francisco
